However, the head of the committee, Abdul Mueed Chowdhury, explained that the age limit for entering government service is recommended to be 35 and 37 years.

It is not possible for girls to take the test at that age like boys. Apart from this, 37 years have been recommended for women to increase their participation in employment, he said.

He explained this while talking to reporters at the secretariat on Monday.

Abdul Mueed Chowdhury said, '35 years is applicable for everyone. However, we have recommended an increase of two years to 37 years for women. I did this so that more women could participate. Can come to work.'


He said that it is not possible for girls to take exams normally like boys at that age, 'There are family obligations, marriages, children are born. So they can come. Besides, the number of our female officers is relatively less. There is a quota, but it is not so full yet. That's why we have given this recommendation, so that women get this facility, they can come.'
