Jumbangla Desk: Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman went to the United States and Canada today (October 15) on an official visit.

During the visit, he will participate in meetings with high-ranking military and civilian officials of the United Nations Headquarters, the United States and Canada, and discuss various issues of mutual cooperation, to discuss issues related to the United Nations peacekeeping mission, increase the capacity of the army, develop bilateral relations and determine the future course of action.

After the tour, the army chief will return to Bangladesh on October 25. - ISPR
