On Monday (October 14, 2024), he was arrested with the help of the Shahali police station by raiding the area of ​​the Shahali police station. The arrested Shah Alam is the joint secretary of Ward No. 93 Awami League.

A case was registered in the Mirpur Model Police Station on August 16, 2024 regarding the murder of the victim Faizul Islam Rajan in the Mirpur-10 area of ​​the capital. According to the statement of the case, on the afternoon of July 19, the leaders and activists of various organizations of Awami League fired on the protesting anti-discrimination students in front of the Mirpur-10 fire service station. At that time, Faizul Islam Rajan was shot dead by Awami League leaders and activists. The seriously injured Rajon was taken to Mirpur-6 area doctor Ajmal Hospital where the duty doctor declared him brought dead.
