Jumbangla Des Sheikh Shahriar bin Mateen, who was martyred in the anti-discrimination student k:movement, has passed the HSC examination. He appeared in the examination under Mymensingh Board and obtained GPA-4.83.

Today Tuesday (October 15) his father Mohammad Abdul Matin said this information in a post on Facebook.

Mohammad Abdul Matin wrote on Facebook, "Sheikh Shahriar Been Matin, my only son who was martyred in the anti-discrimination student movement, has passed the HSC examination."

Sheikh Shahriar bin Matin was shot dead near roundabout number 10 in Dhaka's Mirpur in the afternoon of July 18. The bullet entered the right eye and severed the brain. Shahriar's house is in Kumdrashasan Uttarpara village of Ishwarganj upazila of Mymensingh.
