Jumbangla Desk: Under the government's agricultural OMS program, 10 agricultural products will be sold at cheap prices in 20 places in Dhaka, said trade advisor Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed.

Inaugurating the program in front of the capital's food building on Tuesday, he said that they have taken this initiative so that consumers can get everything within their purchasing power at affordable prices.

Advisor to Agriculture and Home Affairs. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury was also present on the occasion.

The Ministry of Commerce said that initially these agricultural products will be sold through truck sales at 20 places in the capital.

The places where it will be sold are: Kadhya Bhawan, Manik Mia Avenue, Mirpur-10, Basabo, Basila, Rayer Bazar, Rajarbagh, Mugda-North, Mugda-Dakshin, Palashi Mor, Hazaribagh, Mohammadpur, Gabtali, Mohakhali Bus Stand, Begunbari, Uttarkhan, Dakshin Khan, Kamrangirchar, Rampura and Jhigatala.

On the other hand, under this program, a kilogram of potatoes will be sold at Tk 30, a dozen eggs at Tk 130, a kg of onions at Tk 70, 1 kg of raw papaya at Tk 20 and five kg of various green vegetables will be sold in packages, the ministry said.
