The victim housewife is a resident of Hazra Natore area of ​​Natore Sadar Upazila.

The victims said that Shatabdi Rani, daughter of Shyamal Chandra of Hazra Natore area of ​​Natore suburb, got married to Jayant Kumar, son of Prabhat Kumar of Bagdob village, Baraigram, Natore, about six months ago. After marriage, Shatabdi was staying at her father's house. On Saturday afternoon Jayant Kumar came to his in-laws house on the occasion of Durga Puja. Later he bought Puja with Shatabdi. At night Shyamal goes somewhere outside the house and drinks alcohol. After some time he came to his in-laws house and felt sick.

Shyamal went home with his car that night. The next morning, when his illness worsened, he was first admitted to Baraigram Upazila Health Complex and later to Sadar Hospital. While undergoing treatment there, Shyamal's cousin Milan admitted him to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. Shyamal died that night while undergoing treatment there.

Jayant's body was taken home on Monday afternoon after postmortem and all formalities. Later in the early evening, 14-15 relatives including Jayant's wife Shatabdi Rani, his father Shyamal Chandra, mother Rupali Rani went to see the dead body. At that time, several people, including the cousin of the dead Shyamal, attacked them without letting them see the body. At that time, they beat the bride and their relatives and injured them. The police rescued everyone after receiving information.

Shatabdi Rani alleged that Shyamal's cousin Milan was responsible for Shyamal's death. Why did he rush a patient suffering from alcohol poisoning to Rajshahi in a private car? Why did not see the face of her dead husband beat everyone? He wants peace of the guilty through proper investigation of the matter. He also said that he will file a case regarding Shyamal's death and assault.

When asked about the reason for the mayhem by contacting Milon, he said that the public got excited and beat up everyone.

Rajshahi Medical College Hospital Emergency Medical Officer Dr. Al Masud Md. Mizanur Rahman confirmed the death of Jayant due to consumption of poisonous liquor.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Baraigram Police Station Sirajul Islam told the media that the police rescued the injured in the fight and brought them to safety. Legal action will be taken if a written complaint is received in this regard. A wrongful death case has been filed in connection with Shyamal's death.
