The fine was imposed in the operation of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection on Tuesday (October 14). The operation was conducted by the deputy director of the department Mohammad Faiz Ullah, assistant director Rana Deb Nath and Md. Anishur Rahman.

Moreover, during the operation of Chittagong District Task Force Karnaphuli Complex, four establishments were fined Tk 28,000 for not having a price list in the shops, selling products above the price set by the government, not keeping sales receipts, expired products, unauthorized products and various types of open goods in a dirty environment harmful to health. .


A medicine store in the same area has been warned with a fine of Tk 10,000 for violating product packaging rules, selling medicines above the prescribed price and selling expired medicines.

Chittagong District Administration Executive Magistrate Al Amin and Mainul Hasan, National Consumer Rights Protection Directorate Assistant Director Rana Deb Nath, Agricultural Marketing Directorate officials and local students participated in the task force operation.
