Jumbangla Desk: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will return to Dhaka on October 25 with his wife. At the moment, she is in Australia for vacation with her elder daughter Shamaruh Mirza and her family. In the meantime, Rahat Ara Begum, wife of the Secretary General has also reached the country .

Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP's media cell, said at midnight on Tuesday (October 15), 'I hope the Secretary General will come to Dhaka on October 25.'

Shayrul Kabir also said, 'The Secretary General was trying to leave long ago. The movement, struggle and the situation of the country could not be considered. Now he has gone to spend time with his eldest daughter and grandchildren and will return with his wife.'

Earlier, Fakhrul left for Australia on a Singapore Airlines flight from Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on the night of October 9. Fakhrul arrived in Australia on October 10 at 2 pm Bangladesh time. Rashedul Haque, International Affairs Secretary of BNP welcomed him there.

Mirza Fakhrul's eldest daughter Shamaruh Mirza has been living permanently in Canberra, the capital of Australia since 2006. She is also known as a women's rights organizer.
