Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that Sheikh Hasina resigned and left the country on August 5 in the face of the students' movement. 57 injured in the indiscriminate firing by the police and terrorists during the July-August revolution are currently undergoing treatment at the Savar Paralysis Rehabilitation Center CRP. Among them, six patients with spinal cord injuries are in critical condition.

Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami went to the bedside of the patients under treatment and inquired about their families along with their treatment.

Later, at Redway Hall of CRP, Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami said, "We do not want those who have made such great sacrifices for the country to be at the mercy of anyone."

He said that Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and workers are with the martyrs and injured in the July-August revolution with full cooperation.
