The chief advisor of overseas committee of Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF) has urged the members of ZRF to set more innovative examples in the future in the service of humanity. Zobaida Rahman.
He made this call while addressing a discussion meeting at the Engineers Institution auditorium in the capital on Friday (October 18) via virtual connection from London.
Dr. to celebrate the silver jubilee of this foundation organized in the name of Shahid Ziaur Rahman. Congratulating all the members of Zobaida Rahman Foundation, ZRF has made numerous philanthropic projects successful through tireless efforts for the past 25 years.
Mentioning that ZRF is moving ahead with the doctrine of 'man for man', he said, sometimes to deliver oxygen to the patients of Corona (Covid-19), and sometimes to stand beside the sick people who are depressed due to heavy floods, the members of this organization are always active in their service - which is really unimaginable
Dr. Zobaida said, not only in the service of people, this organization has participated in the tree planting program to protect the balance of the environment. Sometimes they distributed ducks, chickens and goats among the poor families. Took up seed scheme for seed distribution and water scheme for clean water.
He said that virtual science fair is one of the multifaceted projects of ZRF in search of future scientists. By organizing this fair, this organization encourages children and teenagers to become proficient in science.
Prominent doctor Dr. Zobaida Rahman expressed hope that this foundation established in the name of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman, a bright star in public service work, will continue to work in the service of people.
He thanked all the members of the Celebration Committee for making the Silver Jubilee of ZRF successful and worthwhile.
