Jumbangla Desk : Maximum 60 km per hour in the evening in six regions of the country. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has said that there may be thundershowers with strong winds.

This information was given in the forecast given by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department till 6 pm on Saturday (October 19) for the inland river ports of the country.

The forecast says that rain/thundershowers with gusty winds of 45-60 km per hour may occur from west or south-west over Jessore, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali and Comilla regions.

The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

Another weather bulletin said, the extension of low pressure has extended to North Bengal Sea. A low pressure is likely to develop over central Bay of Bengal by October 22.

Rainfall may increase across the country during this time.
