Jumbangla Desk: The Sirat Conference was held for the first time on Thursday (October 24) in the grounds of the Faculty of Science organized by Jagannath University (JUB) students. Sheikh Ahmadullah, chairman of As Sunnah Foundation, a well-known Islamic scholar, was present as the chief guest. Besides, the director of Daffodil Islamic Center Sheikh Professor Mokhtar Ahmad, Khatib Sheikh Abdul Hai Muhammad Saifullah of Masjidul Jum'a Complex of Mirpur were present as guests.

 

 

In the speech of the chief guest, Shaikh Ahmadullah said, 'There is no alternative to the philosophy of life of Muhammad (pbuh) to get rid of the instability that is prevailing in the whole world at present. The more Muhammad (pbuh) can be recited, the more our lives will be enlightened, meaningful, the more we can build a beautiful world. Muhammad (pbuh) came to the world at the most critical moment in human history and turned the most barbaric nation of Mecca into the most beautiful nation and society at that time. Radical reform of a state takes a lot of time, but Muhammad (pbuh) overcame hundreds of thousands of obstacles and was supremely successful in his mission. At least from a curious point of view, Muslims as well as other religions should read the Seerat of the Prophet at least once. The conference started with recitation from the Holy Quran and later Hamad and Nate Rasool were performed with the participation of university students.

In the president's speech, Professor Dr. Md. Raich Uddin said, 'As a Muslim country, we wanted the youth of this country to be nurtured in the ideals of the Prophet, but because of this, in the past, they were labeled as militants. Besides, the Muslim youth of our country were facing constant obstacles in Islamic activities. Islam can be properly established through such a conference. Only then can we become true Muslims if we try to reflect the aspects of the Seerat of the Prophet (PBUH) in our lives. And as Muslims, it will be our moral responsibility to ensure that no oppression and injustice is committed by anyone in this university.'

 

Vice-Chancellor (Routine Duties) as a special guest. Muhammad Manzoor Murshed Bhuiyan said, 'The main purpose of today's Seerat Conference will be worthwhile if we can conduct our own philosophy of life according to the life model of the Prophet (PBUH).'

 

In the speech of the special guest, Professor Dr. Proctor. Muhammad Tajammul Haque said, 'There is a solution to everything in the world in the Seerah of the Prophet (S). Rasul (pbuh)- must be followed without question. If every moment of our life can be followed according to the Prophet (SAW) then we can be on the path of truth, beauty and justice.' In the second part of the conference, the chairman of the social work department of the university and the controller of examinations (additional duties) Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hassan.

 

Also, Dhaka University Associate Professor Mustafa Manzoor, Shaikh Mokhtar Ahmad and Shaikh Abdul Hai Muhammad Saifullah, Bahadur Shah Jame Masjid Khatib Hafez Maulana Mufti Md Amanul Haque and Jagannath University gave an instructive discussion on the love for Rasul (PBUH) and his ideal life character.
