The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested this fraudster from Uttara in the capital on the complaint of some women victims.
Brought up in Baraigram, Natore, Anik scored A plus in SSC and HSC. Enrolled in a private university with engineering subject. After falling in love with another university student, Hacking chose to pay her lover's pocket.
Anik started blackmailing with personal photos and videos by sending various links on Facebook and hacking the ID. In two years, about 50 Facebook IDs were hacked and 15 victims were harassed and looted lakhs of rupees. The target of which was the female students of the university.
The hacker was caught in the net of CID from Uttara of the capital based on the complaints of some women who were victims of such crimes.
On Monday (October 28) at a press conference at the CID headquarters in Malibagh, the DIG of the Cyber Police Center, S N Md. Nazrul Islam.
The press conference also informed that the hacker used to take money from the victim through various shopping and cryptocurrencies instead of BKash cash.
In the press conference, CID requested not to post sensitive pictures and videos on social media and urged not to click on unwanted links.
