Jumbangla Desk: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the main goal of the interim government should be to organize fair elections.
He said this at a discussion meeting on the occasion of the 17th founding anniversary of the National People's Party at Dhaka Reports Unity in the capital on Wednesday (October 30).
Mirza Fakhrul said, Awami League has ruined the country in such a way that overnight change is not possible. Therefore, the main goal of the interim government should be to organize fair elections instead of going the other way.
He said that the success of the reforms expected by the people is not possible without the representative politicians of the people. No decision can be taken which harms the state.
He also said, we believe this government has no political agenda of its own. We also believe that the interim government will use its time well to create an environment for a rational election very soon.

Mirza Fakhrul also said that BNP has fought to restore people's rights and build a state with real values.
