When the video of the torture went viral on social media, it came to the attention of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior. Later, the crime and investigation department of the ministry arrested the Bangladeshi woman.

In the viral video, the woman is seen saying while being tortured, 'Rani King Khan, May Hu King Khan, say who am I? King Khan It's beating me like that. They are beating me like this in the world for 35 years.' The woman can also be heard telling another person to take a video.

The country's Department of Public Relations and Security Media said the suspect has been handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action. The authorities said that all necessary legal steps will be taken to prevent such criminal activities.
