Israel launched an airstrike on Iran on October 26 after almost 4 weeks in response to the missile attack. The attack was carried out in three phases on several missile and drone manufacturing facilities in three provinces of Iran. This news was reported by the American news CNN citing various sources in Tehran. The Times of Israel reported this information in a report on Wednesday (October 30).
According to the report, Iran will give a 'specific and deplorable' response to the recent Israeli attack on its territory. The attack is likely to take place before the November 5 US presidential election.
"The response to aggression by the Zionist regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be decisive and deplorable," said the source familiar with the Israeli attack talks.
Earlier on October 1, Iran fired about 200 missiles at Israel. Tehran said Israel carried out the attack in response to the killings of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan. However, Israel claims to shoot down most of these missiles before they hit the target.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran had "made a big mistake" and "should pay the price".
And in response to the October 1 missile attack, Israel attacked Iran on October 26 Saturday night. Iran claimed four soldiers were killed and 'limited damage' in the Israeli attack. However, Netanyahu claimed success by saying that they had achieved all their goals in the attack.
In this regard, Israel has warned Tehran that any further attack on its territory will take strict action.
