Jumbangla Desk: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 4 criminals with weapons, bullets and drugs in a separate operation of BGB at Daulatpur border of Kushtia. They were arrested on Friday night. According to BGB, members of Chilmari BOP recovered a domestic pistol, 6 rounds of bullets and a motorcycle from Insafnagar area of the upazila around 7:30 on Friday. However, they could not arrest any accused.

BGB members of Mahishkundi Asryan BOP arrested three drug dealers named Al Mamun Imon (22), Rajib Hossain (20) and Murad Hossain (24) along with 1 kg and 800 grams of ganja from Insafnagar Crofdnagar school area of the upazila in another operation at night.
On the other hand, members of Mahishkundi BOP arrested a drug dealer named Rashedul Islam (35) along with 50 bottles of Phencidil from Danmarka BGB check post area.
In this regard, Lieutenant Colonel Mahabub Murshed Rahman, commander of 47 battalion of Kushtia BGB, said that the recovered weapons, bullets and drugs along with the arrested accused have been handed over to Daulatpur police station. The estimated market value of which is 3 lakh 37 thousand 500 taka. Daulatpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sheikh Awal Kabir said that separate cases have been filed in these incidents. The accused were sent to jail on Saturday morning.
