A businessman named Dulal Hossain (45) was killed in a road accident in Rajshahi's Mohanpur. He is a resident of Khandail village of Bakshimuil union of Mohanpur.

According to local residents, Dulal Hossain was sitting on the side of the road at Tentultala on Rajshahi-Naogaon highway around 10:30 pm on Friday night. At that time, a reckless speeding motorcyclist hit him and ran away. As a result, Dulal got seriously injured and fell on the road. Locals quickly rescued him and took him to the emergency department of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, where doctors on duty declared him dead.

The police said that a case has been registered in Mohanpur police station.

It should be noted that 5 people have been killed in four road accidents on this road in Rajshahi's Mohanpur in the last four days.
