Jumbangla Desk: The new price of private liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at the consumer level for the month of November will be determined on Tuesday (November 5). Today it will be known whether the price of LPG is increasing or decreasing.
This information was informed in a circular of Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) on Monday (November 4).
It is said that according to the Saudi CP announced by Saudi Aramco for the month of November (2024), the instructions of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission will be announced on Tuesday at 3:30 pm regarding the price adjustment of private LPG at the consumer level for this month.
Earlier, the price of 12 kg cylinder was increased by Tk 35 to Tk 1,456 for the month of October as compared to the month of September. On September 2, at the consumer level, the price of 12 kg cylinder for the month of September has been increased by Tk 44 compared to the month of August to Tk 1,421. And last August and July it was increased by 11 taka and 3 taka respectively. At that time, the price of 12 kg cylinder was fixed at 1 thousand 377 taka and 1 thousand 366 taka respectively.
In 2023, the prices of LPG and Autogas decreased by 5 points, and increased by 7 points. The prices of LPG and Autogas decreased in January, March, April, June and July last year. And prices increased in February, May, August, September, October, November and December.
