The announcement was made public on Tuesday (November 5).

The new notification seeks to reframe the conditions of the previous notification . The revised notification mentions Lutfe Siddiqui's appointment as voluntary. The perks he will be entitled to while serving as Special Envoy for International Affairs of the Chief Adviser are official vehicles; and actual transportation and accommodation facilities except cash allowance in case of official travel.

It should be noted that on September 4, Lutfe Siddiqui was appointed as the ambassador of the chief adviser. The appointment notification at the time stated that while holding the post of Special Envoy for International Affairs, he would be entitled to the salary and perquisites of an adviser.
