He suffered a heart attack while paying his respects at Ziaur Rahman's tomb in Sherebangla Nagar of the capital on Thursday (November 7) afternoon. After that, when he was taken to the hospital, the doctor declared him dead.

According to Swachhasevak Dal sources, Japan's first funeral will be held in front of BNP's central office in Nayapaltan today at 3 pm. His body will then be taken to Magura, his village home.

Kamruzzaman was a student of Jahangirnagar University's Department of Government and Politics and was the vice-president of the university student body.


Earlier, on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day on November 7 at 11 am, BNP leaders and activists paid their respects at the tomb of the founder of BNP, Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, in Sherebangla Nagar of the capital. At this time flowers were also given by BNP affiliates.
