BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir commented that the interim government has done many things in three months. He expressed optimism that if we cooperate with the government, then they will organize elections at a suitable and logical time.

Fakhrul said these words after paying homage at the shrine of BNP founder martyr President Ziaur Rahman in Shere-Bangla Nagar of the capital on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day on November 7. Earlier, a large number of leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates and affiliates gathered there. Along with BNP, organs and allied organizations and various professional organizations paid tributes at the shrine of martyred President Ziaur Rahman.

Three months of the interim government have been completed, whether they have taken any effective steps, Fakhrul said, of course they have done many things and are working. We believe that if we all support them, they will be able to hold elections in due course. Through this, it will be possible to face the challenges facing this nation.

BNP Secretary General said, on this day of November 7, in 1975, the country's patriotic soldiers defeated the hegemony and their allies and created a new Bangladesh.

He said that the politics after November 7 was the politics of independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh, that politics was the politics of establishing democracy by defeating hegemony and defeating the enemies of democracy. In continuation of that, after the Sepahi-Janata revolution in 1975, the martyred President Ziaur Rahman changed the country's situation after assuming the responsibility of running the state.

He also said that Ziaur Rahman brought multi-party democracy by changing the one-party rule system. He transformed closed market economy into free market economy. As a result, new economic potential is created in Bangladesh.

Mirza Fakhrul said that President Ziaur Rahman created a nationalist party and a philosophy of nationalism after assuming office. In this philosophy, the party has been fighting and struggling for democracy for a long time. In the long struggle of Begum Khaleda Zia, the party came to power three times.

He said that the previous fascist government had conspired and tortured BNP in various ways. This Awami League has harassed more than 60 lakh people with false cases. 7 wanted to establish fascism by disappearing hundreds of people, killing thousands of people. But by God's infinite mercy, hegemony was defeated in this country for the third time through the uprising of students on August 5.

BNP Secretary General said, Today, the main hero of November 7th revolution and solidarity day, we paid homage to the martyred President Ziaur Rahman, the promulgator of freedom, the shaper of multi-party democracy, and we swore that we will stop hegemony with the people. For this, if necessary, I will make a stronger movement.
