Advocate Nazrul Islam, President of Sunamganj District Lawyers Association, confirmed the bail to Chefu Jugantar. He said that his bail was granted in Sunamganj Speedy Court Judge Nirjan Mitra's court on Thursday afternoon.

He is the third accused in the case filed on the charge of armed attack on the students and crowd at the bus station of Sunamganj city on August 4. On October 9, when he was brought to court from Sunamganj Sadar Model Police Station, Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Alamgir sent him to jail as there was no judge of the relevant speedy court.


Later, the police applied to remand him for 10 days. After the hearing on October 20, the court granted a two-day remand.
