Upazila BNP senior joint convener Sarwar Alam Khan confirmed the matter on Thursday. The accused Rubel was expelled from the post as the allegations were proved in the investigation led by the upazila and union youth party president and secretary on the instructions of BNP central leader and former MP Hafiz Ibrahim.
On the other hand, Ruhul Amin, Village Police (Chowkidar) of Ward No. 3 of Pakchia Union has been shown the reason for the same complaint, Upazila Executive Officer Md. Rahan Uzzaman.
Residents and local residents of the shelter project said that Chowkidar Ruhul Amin and the organizing secretary of Pakhia Union Farmers' Party took advantage of the lack of people in some of the houses allocated by the government for the rehabilitation of helpless people in Beribandh area of Ward No. 3 of Pakhia Union of the upazila. He took 20,000 rupees from a helpless woman named Kulsum and gave a house. Later, when pressure was created for another 10,000 rupees, the matter came to the attention of the administration. Rubel went to oust the woman again for not paying the money.
The government provides free land and houses. There was a commotion among the locals due to complaints of trade in that house. In the investigation of the upazila administration, Kulsum said that he brought the money by taking a loan.
In this way money is already taken from 4 houses. Apart from this, Rubel Gangra asked all the householders of that cluster village to pay monthly contribution.
Locals said that under the leadership of Rubel and Chowkidar, people constantly came to collect money, if no one paid, they were threatened with torture.

In this regard, Rubel confirmed the truth of the incident and said, I took 20 thousand taka and gave five thousand taka to the chowkidar. I have distributed another 1500 rupees to different people and will return the money.
In this regard, Joint General Secretary of Upazila BNP Sarwar Alam Khan said that the criminal will not be exempted.
