Hasib Al Islam, coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement, explained the objectionable statements about the arson in the metro rail and the killing of the police. He claimed that due to lack of time, the partial speech has been published in the media.
The coordinator of the movement gave this information in a statement sent to the media on Thursday evening.
Recently, the anti-discrimination student movement's coordinator Hasib Al Islam's TV talk show caused a commotion with the movement's speech. He was later condemned by anti-discrimination organizations in this incident. Coordinator Haseeb responded to that.
In a written reply, Haseeb said, "Due to time constraints on DBC News' talk show 'Prayatne Bangladesh', my speech remained somewhat incomplete while summarizing it and fragmented parts of the speech were being somewhat misrepresented in various media and confusion was created in the public mind. In my speech I basically meant that revolution can never follow rules. Every revolution in the world has been organized outside the rules.
I mean in my speech, the proud pillar of Awami fascism when they themselves set fire to their so-called development project metro rail and then fascist Hasina's crying about it created anger in the people and this anger accelerated the movement against the fascists.
And in the July coup, the Awami Dosor Police League indiscriminately fired on the students and carried out a massacre, when the masses of the country put up a stiff resistance against them to save their lives, which was an expression of the accumulated anger of the liberation masses.
The people realized that Awami fascists have to take responsibility for the bloodshed in this coup because Awami terrorists are using the police to carry out massacres. In explaining these two things, due to the lack of time, I could only mention the facts, it was not possible to highlight the whole matter.
It is very disappointing that different media outlets are misrepresenting fragmented parts of my speech without contacting me and taking my opinion.
