Jamaat will field candidates in 300 seats in the next election. From now on all activities will be at the field level. No place will be left out. Party's central executive council member and media secretary Advocate Matiur Rahman Akand said that the invitation should be extended to Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, political and non-political.
He said these things while addressing the chief guest at Kishoreganj District Emir's swearing-in and membership (RUCON) conference at Al-Farooq Trust Auditorium in Nagua area of the city on Friday morning at 10 am.
This influential leader of the Jamaat said that the Jamaat-e-Islami has decided to hold the elections in 300 seats. Now there is no need to have the question of alliance or not in your mind. Alliances are a different thing. If we see that the Islamic movement will benefit from the joint elections, we will go - if not, we will not go. Jamaat-e-Islami will not do any work by putting the interests of the world in front of the ideals of Islam, inshallah.
He said that the people of Bangladesh will choose Jamaat-e-Islami as the only force to fight against Indian hegemony in the coming days. BNP thought that India would put them in power. In fact, they are now somewhat disappointed. They make India happy once, China once and America happy again. Three people are hard to please.
Matiur Rahman Akand said that Jamaat-e-Islami has been established as a strong organization everywhere in Bangladesh. Here is what it wants to do. If this Jamaat gets one year. There will be no village in Bangladesh which does not have Jamaat organization. This fear is what they are doing. If the organization of Jamaat is established in all villages, then Jamaat will become an unstoppable organization in the politics of Bangladesh. So; They want elections to be held immediately - they will come to power. Let them stay with all these daydreams, we continue our work.
Akand said, we will not have any separate relationship with any state. We will have relationship with 18 crore people of Bangladesh. Bangladesh will not be attracted to any country. Our interest is the interest of 18 crore people. The country that will come to trade with us. We will give opportunity to the country which gives maximum profit. It does not mean China, Japan, Hindustan-Pakistan, Afghanistan. We need the economic interests of 18 crore people of the country. No country in the world is our political parent. Not a political mentor. Our political mentor is Allah. Our leader is a prophet.
District Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Prof. Maulana Enamul Haque, former District Amir Maulana Taybuzzaman, District Naib and Principal Maulana Azizul Haque and others were present as special guests in the event under the chairmanship of Ramzan Ali and moderated by Secretary Maulana Nazmul Islam.
600 male and female members of the district were present in the swearing in of the district emir and the election of shura members in the Majlis.
