Eyewitnesses said that several people came here claiming to be a general crowd and started shouting slogans. At that time, the theater workers moved away from there. The general public said, they will not allow the 'Nitya Puran' drama exhibition to take place.

However, theater workers took a position in front of the entrance of Shilpakala Academy. After pelting stones at the rally, prominent playwright Mamunur Rashid said, 'I will not end the meeting. There will be drama inside, we will guard outside. I will leave after seeing these miscreants.'

Bangladesh Group Theater Federation has announced a protest meeting across the country on November 15 in protest of this incident. On their part, it has been said that a drama exhibition is going on today. They will stay at the venue until the demonstration is over.

Earlier, on Saturday (November 2), the exhibition of the play 'Nityapuran' by the Deshanatak team was closed in the face of protests at the National Theater of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
