Sift the flour very well. This is the most important step in making soft bread. Knead the dough for at least 8 to 10 minutes until soft and smooth. If the dough seems rough or dry, add little water. The dough should be slightly sticky but not too wet. After kneading, let the dough rest for at least 15-20 minutes. This process relaxes the gluten which helps soften the bread. Apply a little oil to the dough and cover it with a wet cloth so that it does not dry out.
Use lukewarm water instead of cold water to knead the dough. Add a pinch of salt and little cooking oil while kneading the dough.
Do not use too much flour when baking bread. Do not roll the bread too thick. Make bread with little lychees. It will make the bread thin and soft.
Preheat the baking pan. It will make the bread swell better. You can spread a little butter while rolling the bread. Stays soft for a long time.
