Science and Application Desk: There are many times that we easily delete some pictures from our mobile and forget them. But, many times after few days of deleting the photos, I find a way how to get back those deleted photos. Moreover, it is normal to delete pictures from our mobile even if we forget.

 

 

 

Commonly, we all think that once the photos are deleted, it is impossible to get them back. But if the photos are deleted from one's Google account, it is possible to recover them. Basically when you delete a photo from Google Photos, it automatically goes to the Trash folder. In this case backed up deleted photos remain in trash for 60 days. And unbacked photos stay in trash for 30 days. Only images and videos in the Trash folder can be recovered.

 

Once the Trash folder is emptied, its contents cannot be recovered. However, if one has not been active on Google Photos for 2 years or more, then deleted photos cannot be recovered. In this case, that content may be removed. Similarly, if someone has exceeded their storage limit for 2 years or more, all that content, including photos, will also be deleted.

 

 

 

Check Trash Folder: To recover deleted photos from Trash folder, first find it. For this, click on 'Restore' option. The photo will be restored to the phone gallery or Google Photos library.

 

Google Support: If someone has saved deleted photos on Google Drive, Google can be requested to restore them. For this, go to Google Drive and click on the help page. Then click on 'Missing or Delete File' option from the help page. Then in a popup box two options will be available. The first option will be 'Request Chat' and the second will be 'E-mail Support'. From here you have to select a suitable option. But in this case, why Google is needed must be explained. Google can recover deleted photos or files only if this is possible.

 

 

 

With Archive Folder: Sometimes people accidentally save their photos and think they have deleted them. It might be helpful to check the Saves folder for missing photos. If one finds lost photos in saved folder, just select 'unarchive' option. This will restore the photo to the gallery.
