Addressing the expatriates, the chief adviser said, the nation can give you the respect you deserve. Today's first step towards that honor is the inauguration of Pravasi Lounge. Hopefully, many more steps will be taken.

Dr. Yunus said, so that you can come here and think that you are at peace, at home, everyone is looking after you, serving you. That means you will stay here like a guest. You will be respected.

He said, this is an effort to prove your worth. What I started today can be applied in many ways.

Emphasizing on proper utilization of the money earned by expatriates, the head of government said, the money earned by expatriates is coming to Bangladesh, they are earning for Bangladesh. Expatriates are earning money with difficulty. And another person is smuggling this hard earned money abroad. This is our misfortune. We have to come back from there, let the money of our country stay in the country, be useful for the country.

The expatriate workers called the craftsman of the country. Yunus said, our expatriate workers are the craftsmen of country building. They played a major role in the mass uprising of July-August. We are always grateful to them. We believe, this lounge will make their travel easier.

Law and expatriate welfare adviser present at the event. Dr. Asif Nazrul showed. Muhammad Yunus said, after many days we started a new journey. It's been three months. There was competition between the two of us, Asif Nazrul and me. Who can do it (expatriate lounge) early. We were able to inaugurate it today for both of us. Mainly because we both felt the need to come and go. We all have to use airports. I also have to come and go almost. It hurts my heart when I see expatriates suffering due to coming and going.
