Jumbangla Desk: Producer Mustafa Saryar Farooqui has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Culture as an advisor to the interim government. From the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement to the advisory council of the interim government after being sworn in as an adviser, there has been a lot of criticism on Sekh Bashir Uddin, the managing director of the industrial group Akiz-Bashir Group, along with Farooqui.
Meanwhile, General Secretary and Central Coordinator of 'Julai Shaheed Smriti Foundation', Sarjis Alam, said that he questioned how Farooqui came to the advisory council. Do not want to see people in the advisory council who keep silent during the agitation.
Pointing out that Faruqi has conspired to stay close to power, he said, 'We have seen Faruqi go directly against the government on July 36 and never stand for those who participated in the uprising of the student crowd. He did whatever he needed to do to stay close to power throughout his time.'
Then he said, 'Maybe by writing a line, maybe by taking a picture. Everyone will not be flattered by saying brother brother agree brother in one line. Some write a line and some say a word to flatter.'
'How do these Farooquis come to the Advisory Council? From our place, we expressed our opposition clearly that day. We say from our place that such silence does not want to see people in the advisory council who are saving themselves in difficult times. They can never contain the spirit of the movement.'
In the words of Sarzis, 'If they could, they would have protested from their place. We feel from our position that the interim government should be administered by only those people who have mastered the overall coup and have the mindset to sustain the spirit in the future.'
At the end, he said, 'The person who has shown honest courage at that time, whether on the street, through social media, or from outside the country, should be represented in this place. I will say the good of the government. I will look at the limitations directly.'
