Journalist Nick Clark's question was, how is the Yunus administration seeing Sheikh Hasina's presence in India and the statements and announcements she is making from there?

Dr. in response. Yunus said, he is making a statement, calling for agitation inside Bangladesh - we have filed a complaint against him for destabilizing the country. It will not help Bangladesh at all. So we draw the attention of the Indian authorities that you have granted him asylum, good. But please ensure that he does not create any problem for us. Otherwise we will have to complain to you (India) again that you have sheltered people who are bad for us. So we should resolve it amicably, between India and Bangladesh.

The moderator said that Sheikh Hasina still sees herself as the prime minister.

In response, the chief adviser said that he can tell himself many things, but the reality is not. Even India says he is a former Prime Minister; So even if he is given shelter, the former prime minister is saying nothing.

Nick Clarke said Amnesty International expressed concern about the role of the interim government on minority rights issues. How is Yunus planning to deal with this crisis?

In response, the Chief Adviser said, We are reminding the minorities, look, you are citizens of the country. Constitution gives you your rights, freedom, right to express yourself, right to practice your own religion. They are in the constitution itself. So it is not something coming from you (outside country). It is our responsibility as a government to ensure that citizens enjoy the rights given by the constitution.

In response, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Yunus said, “Violence has not increased. I would say the violence has decreased. The violence started from the time of the revolution. Not because they were Hindus or other religions, most of them were Awami Leaguers.
