Jumbangla Desk: Tariq Rahman said that if BNP comes to power, it will name the state institutions after the martyrs of the student uprising.

BNP

He said this idea by connecting virtually from London in an event at the National Press Club on Monday afternoon.

Tariq Rahman said that in the future, if BNP is able to form the government, the government institutions of the country will be named after those who sacrificed their lives to send away the dictatorship. We have such a proposal.

He said, so that the names of the martyrs are not lost, the state institutions in different areas will be named after each martyr. Be it police station level, district level, department level, Dhaka city or different places.

'Those who have been affected in various ways... I don't know how much we can do. But we must try to help as many people as possible to recover to some extent.

Tariq Rahman said, here we are giving wheelchairs to 10 people today. Beyond the movement there are many people socially who have been crippled either by birth or for various reasons. If someone is crippled in the economic context of the country, it becomes quite a burden on the family.'

'My personal wish is to arrange for the healing of these people. If BNP forms the government in the future, we will have an objective or goal separate from the government. That is, whether he is a member of a family, whether he is wealthy or not, we will try on behalf of the state to extend a helping hand to those families who have such people. So that those crippled people can be independent as much as possible.

For this reason, Tarek also called upon the economically prosperous people of the country to extend their hand of cooperation.

He also said, I believe that if we all extend our hands of cooperation then we will be able to start the kind of Bangladesh that we envision.

This event was held at the National Press Club Auditorium under the initiative of the organization called We BNP Parivar.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Treasurer M Rashiduzzaman Millat and other BNP leaders were present in the event under the chairmanship of Atiqur Rahman Rumon, Convener of BNP family.
