Shahid Ullah, a local resident, said that a group of 20-30 people from the island go fishing with daily fishing rods. On Sunday morning, a coral fish weighing 25 kg was caught in the barashi of local youth Modachir.


Modachir said, if I get a chance, I go fishing in the Naf river. If you are lucky, big fish are often caught here. The coral fish caught today has been sold for 1300 taka per kg. The fish is sold for about 32 thousand taka.
