Jumbangla Desk: Pakistan has approved scholarships for Bangladeshi students. The country's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the scholarship of 100 Bangladeshis to study in Pakistan.
On Wednesday (November 20), the country's media Sama TV reported this information.
According to the report, the Bangladesh government has decided to give scholarships to 100 Bangladeshi students after lifting the ban on Pakistani students studying in Dhaka University. This made the way for Bangladeshis to get higher education in Pakistan easier.
The report also mentions that the Pakistani High Commissioner assigned to Bangladesh is doing the most work in the implementation of this matter.
Last September, the country's media Dawn reported that the government of Pakistan intends to give scholarships to Bangladeshi students.
It is to be noted that Bangladesh and Pakistan had earlier cooperative relations in education. But it was closed for a long time.
