breast cancer

While breast cancer is curable if caught at the right time, it can come back in some people within five to seven years of recovery. In medical terms this is called 'metastatic development'. For the first five years after the cancer is cured, there is usually almost no risk of it coming back. But it is not absolutely certain that it will not come back. Again there is variation in repetition. There are three types of places where the cancer is likely to come back. First, where the cancer started, it can reoccur. Again in the place where it happened before, it can be in the surrounding area. In addition, cancer cells are transported through the blood and spread to other organs.

Why it comes back : The reason for relapse after recovery is the presence of cancer cells in the body. Which is not easily detected in tests like abdominal CT scan or mammography. By the time the patient realizes, it is too late. Generally, there is a risk of recurrence within three to four years after the first recovery from cancer. For some, this timeline can be 10-12 years.

Recurrence symptoms: If you suddenly feel pain in the breast, it is better not to leave it. This is a very important sign of cancer return. There may be sharp pain in the chest, back, ribs. If there is a sudden change in the shape of the breast. Then you have to be careful. Apart from this, you should understand by the touch of your hand, whether there is any swelling in the breast or not. If so, understand that the cancer is coming back. If there is no problem with cold, but still have difficulty breathing, chest tightness, then be careful. After breast cancer is cured, it can easily spread to the lungs. Many people are tired from fighting diseases like cancer. He needs rest. If the fatigue does not go away after taking it, then it is not normal. It can cause the cancer to come back.
