Answer: Impurities are mainly of two types. 1. Dirty streets. The order of impurity is strong. 2. Najasat Khafifa. The punishment for impurity is somewhat milder.
There are two types of nazasate alleys. 1. Liquid impurities like human urine, blood, semen etc. 2. Dark or solid impurities such as human feces, animal feces, etc.
In nazasah, the amount of liquid that is one dirham (i.e. a rounded amount of raw money, which is the size of the bottom of the palm of the hand) or less on the body or clothes will not become impure.
Similarly, in Nazasah, if the amount of solid impurity up to one sikh i.e. 4.37 grams or less is applied to the cloth or body, it will not become impure. Of course, if it is possible to remove the impurity, it would be makruh tahrimi to pray with this much impurity.
And if the khafifa is less than one-fourth of the part of the body or the part of the cloth in Najasa, the cloth will not be impure. Of course, if there is a way to wash this impurity, praying with it will be makruh tahrimi.
Methods of purification from impurity:
Dark impurity: If blood, excrement gets on the body or clothes, it should be washed in such a way that the impurity is completely removed. In this case, it is not necessary to wash three times. Even if the impurity is removed by less than three times, it will become ripe. Of course, in this case, it is better to wash three times.
If the liquid becomes impure, it is necessary to wash it three times and squeeze each time if it is to be purified with water from a bucket or small enclosure.
Yes, if a garment is washed thoroughly in a large pool or not washed in a small enclosed space, then a large amount of water is poured over the impurity, or a large amount of water is run over the garment which strongly suggests that the impurity has been removed, then washing and wringing three times is required. It gets ripe without it.
The hadith comes from Sharif, narrated by Asma (R.A.), the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said about menstrual blood sticking to clothes. He said, 'Wash it with water and then wash it well with water. Then he will pray.' (Bukhari 227,307)
