Bangladesh Public Service Commission has released the re-result of the 46th BCS preliminary exam.

The result was published on Wednesday afternoon. The matter was informed in a circular signed by Controller of Examination Anand Kumar Biswas.

It is said that 21 thousand 397 candidates have passed the preliminary (MCQ Type) test of the 46th BCS examination-2023 held on April 26 this year. Passed provisionally for 46th BCS written examination.

Earlier, the results of the 46th BCS preliminary examination were published on May 9. 10 thousand 638 candidates passed it. However, 21 thousand 397 people have passed the results again.

The 46th BCS preliminary exam was held on April 26. Job seekers participated in different centers of Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh. This exam of 200 marks is conducted from 10 am to 12 noon. 2 lakh 54 thousand 561 candidates participated in the 46th BCS prelims. 83 thousand 425 people did not take the exam. Attendance rate is 75.

Out of 3 thousand 140 posts in this BCS, most will be taken in health cadre. Apart from this, 1 thousand 682 assistant surgeons, 16 assistant dental surgeons will be recruited. After that most will be taken in education cadre. 520 people will be taken for BCS education from this cadre in various subjects.
