Referring to the death of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif as a martyr's death, popular Islamic commentator Mizanur Rahman Azhari has expressed his opinion that the Muslim Ummah will be enlivened by his holy blood.

He said, Martyr Saiful Islam Alif is soaked in prayers and mercy of millions of Muslims. InshAllah, the whole Ummah will be energized by this holy blood of martyrdom.

Mizanur Rahman Azhari wrote these words by sharing the photo of Saiful Islam Alif's funeral in a post on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday.

He said, May Allah accept your Najrana in dealing with extremism and extremism. Know O Shahid, in defense of freedom and sovereignty - the future youth will walk in your path.

Earlier, demanding exemplary punishment for the people involved in the murder, Azhari said that those involved in the murder of the lawyers of Chittagong should be brought under the law and exemplary punishment should be ensured as soon as possible. Perhaps the latest trump card is being played to destabilize the country. Please everyone stay calm. No provocation will be tolerated. Victory will be ours inshallah.

Advocate Saiful Islam Alif's funeral was held at Jamiatul Falah Mosque Maidan. Millions of people attended the funeral and paid their last respects to this young lawyer. Leaders of various political, social and cultural organizations including the convener of anti-discrimination student movement Hasnat Abdullah, member of civic committee Sarjis Alam participated in the funeral. During Saiful Islam's funeral, everyone bid farewell to him with deep sorrow and respect.

Saiful Islam's first funeral was held at Chittagong court premises around 10:30 am. People from various professions including lawyers were also present there.

Incidentally, Saiful Islam Alif was murdered in Chittagong court area yesterday. Bangladesh Sammilit Sanatani Jagran Jot spokesman Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari was denied bail and on his way to jail, ISKCON members and Chinmoy's followers attacked law enforcement and tried to abduct Chinmoy Krishna Das. At that time they vandalized the mosque located in the court premises. At one point lawyer Saiful Islam Alif stopped them. Saiful was later captured and taken in front of Rangam Tower opposite the main gate of the court, where he was brutally murdered by hacking and slitting his throat. At least 37 people including 10 policemen were injured in the clash.

Earlier on Monday afternoon, Chinmoy Krishna Das was arrested at the airport while going to Chittagong from Dhaka. Allegation against him is that on October 31, he insulted the national flag in a rally in Chittagong.
