Own Correspondent, Gazipur: At least 5 people were injured in the clash over dominance in Tongi, Gazipur. The incident took place on Tuesday (November 26) around 9 pm at Ershadnagar Chankir Tech area of ​​Tongir .

GhazipurIn this incident, a person named Hridiya (29) was cut and seriously injured. He is the son of Hanif Mia of block number one of Ershadnagar area of ​​Tongir. Hridiya is a driver by profession. Locals brought him seriously injured to Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master General Hospital in Tongi. After the initial treatment, when the physical condition of the heart deteriorated, the emergency department doctor sent him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for better treatment.

After the incident, senior officers of Gazipur Metropolitan Police South Division went to the spot. Other injured in the clash are being treated at various private hospitals. The names of the other injured were not immediately available.

According to the locals, the Anwar group and Kamrul Islam alias Kamu group of Ershadnagar area of ​​Tongir have been in conflict for a long time based on the spread of dominance. Clashes broke out between the two parties on Tuesday night. Because of this, people from both sides got involved in several clashes with indigenous weapons. At this time the supporters of Anwar group cut the heart of the supporters of Kamrul Islam Kamu group with sharp weapons. At least 5 people from both sides were injured in the clash.
