Lifestyle Desk: Satan is the enemy of man. Satan can move like blood in the human body. So he deceives people in various ways to destroy their faith and deeds. Following are the actions to escape from Satan's deception:
prayer
Actions to avoid deception:
No matter how cunning and hostile the devil is, it is possible to avoid the deception of the devil by adopting the firmness of faith, seeking refuge in Allah, worship and the company of good people. The six deeds mentioned in the hadith are mentioned here.
One. In order to avoid deception in matters of faith, one must read the Razim of Auzubillahi Minash Shaitani. Hadith narrated from Abu Huraira (RA). Rasulullah (SAW) said, 'Satan may come to one of you and he may say who created this thing? Who created that thing? Asking such questions will finally say who created your Lord? When the matter reaches this level, he must seek refuge in Allah and desist.' (Bukhari, Hadith: 3276)
Two. By reciting Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim, the power of Satan is weakened. Abu Malih (RA) narrated from a Companion, I was riding the same camel with the Prophet (PBUH). If the camel jumps at such a time, I say, the destruction of the devil! Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, do not say that the destruction of Satan! Because when you say that, Satan swells up like a house with pride. And says, I am very strong. Instead, you say Bismillah. When you say this, Satan becomes (weak) like a small fly. (Abu Dawud, Hadith: 4982)
Three. In order to escape from Satan's evil in the prayer, one has to spit three times to the left. Uthman Ibn Abul As (R.A.) came to the Messenger (S.A.W.) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, Satan interferes between me and my Salat and Qiraat and makes it jumbled for me." Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "It is a (kind of) Satan whose name is Khinjib."
When you feel his presence (reciting Auzubillah), seek refuge in the name of Allah from his grasp and spit three times to your left. He said, "After I did that, Allah removed it from me." (Muslim, Hadith: 4083)
Four. Satan is defeated through dhikr. Ibn Abbas (R.A.) said, Rasulullah (S.A.W.) said, Satan sits on the heart of the son of Adam. When he mentions Allah, he withdraws, and when he is heedless or heedless, Shaytaan begins to warn him. (Mishkatul Masabih, Hadith: 2281)
Five. Satan escapes by Azan. Abu Huraira (R.A.) said, Rasulullah (S.A.W.) said, when the call to prayer is given, Satan leaves the air and flees, so that he does not hear the call to prayer. When the call to prayer ends, he returns again. And when Iqamat is called for prayer, it moves away again. When the Iqamat is over he comes back and exhorts the people and says remember this, remember that, he reminds the forgotten things. Thus the man reaches the point where he cannot remember how many rak'ahs he has prayed. (Bukhari, Hadith: 581)
Six. Taking protection from Satan. On the authority of Abu Huraira (RA), Rasulullah (SAW) said, 'He who la-ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul mulku walahul hamdu, wa hua ala kulli shayin qadir.'
By reciting this dua once a day he will get the reward of freeing 10 slaves, one hundred good deeds will be recorded in his deeds and one hundred sins will be erased from him. And it became a protection for him from Satan (his evil counsel) until the evening of that day. There will be no better deed than what he did that day. But if someone does more than that, it is different. (Muslim, Hadith: 6598)
