Several apps, once downloaded to the smartphone, secretly collect information about the exchanged messages and phone calls along with the location of the user and regularly send it to the work of various organizations. These apps, known as stalkerware, pose a risk of cyber attacks in addition to exposure of personal information. And so the antivirus manufacturer Kaspersky has added a new feature called 'Who is spying on me' to its Android app to protect the information of smartphone users.

Not only that, it will also detect suspicious devices capable of collecting data within 100 meters and alert users. Apart from this, users can also control the privacy settings using the facility.
Marina Titova, vice president of consumer product marketing at Kaspersky, said of the new feature: 'Kaspersky has been a leader in the fight against stalkerware, and we were the first to warn users about this type of third-party tracking. We continue to improve our products according to the needs of users and enhance the functionality of our mobile app, to protect users from digital stalking, even offline stalking.'
