The court has ordered the execution of wife Khushnahar and her lover Nadeem Ahmad Naeem and his accomplice in the case of murder of husband Imran in Sylhet because of prostitution.

Sylhet Additional District Judge 4th Court Judge Shayla Sharmin gave the verdict on Thursday.

This was confirmed by Assistant Public Prosecutor Advocate Liaquat Ali.

Additional District Judge 4th Court Bench Assistant Kabir Hossain said that the sentenced accused are - Khushnahar (22), Nadeem Ahmad Naeem (19) and Mahmudul Hasan (22), the wife of Imran who was addicted to aliens.

According to court sources, the police recovered Al Imran's body from under Riverview Residential Hotel in Jaflong Ballaghat of Goainghat Upazila on Monday, April 16, 2023. However, the young man's wife Khushnahar ran away. Al Imran (33), who was killed that day, is the son of Abdul Jabbar of Gurei Union, Nikli, Kishoreganj.

Later, Abdul Jabbar, the father of this youth, filed a case at Goainghat police station as the plaintiff. After a long investigation and testimony of witnesses in the court, the court ruled on the case on Thursday.
