Biblabri Chhatra Parishad has protested demanding the banning of radical Hindutva organization ISKCON and its main sponsor fascist Awami League for the killing of Assistant Public Prosecutor Shaheed Advocate Saiful Islam Alif in Chittagong.
The protest rally was held in front of the Raju sculpture of Dhaka University on Thursday.
Hasan Arif, the chief coordinator of the National Revolutionary Council, said in the rally, ISKCON is one of the accomplices of Sheikh Hasina's 17-year misrule. We have noticed that since August 5, ISKCON has continuously tried to destabilize the country by inciting communal riots. Following this, our brother Advocate Saiful Islam Alif was brutally martyred by ISKCON terrorists in Chittagong.
He also said that a week ago we declared some top politicians who wanted to rehabilitate Awami League from this Raju statue as national traitors. This killing proved that our claim was true. If they had not talked about rehabilitating Awami League in politics, the party's friend ISKCON would never have dared to shed blood in this country.
Galib Ihsan, coordinator of the National Revolutionary Council, said that Awami League will come back again and again in different forms including ISKCON. Therefore, all organizations related to Awami League should be banned immediately. The students must always be vocal in realizing this demand.
Abdul Waheed, convenor of Biplabi Chhatra Parishad, said that ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishnadas, despite being a warrant accused in the sedition case, held a public meeting and spoke provocatively. In this situation, the government was forced to arrest him. But India opposed his arrest and interfered in the internal affairs of Bangladesh.
This student leader called to monitor Chinmoy's movements after meeting the intellectual Farhad Majha. He condemned the assassination attempt on Hasnat Abdullah and Sarjis Alam, the leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement, and asked the government to provide security to the student leaders who were on the front lines of the July-August revolution.
Fazlur Rahman, member secretary of Biplabli Chhatra Parishad, addressed the Hindu community and said, "You are our friends, our brothers." Together we made this country free, freed the country from Awami fascism. We will take the country forward shoulder to shoulder in the future too, inshallah.
He welcomed the government's strong stance against Indian aggression and demanded immediate ban on Awami League and ISKCON.
Leader of Revolutionary Students Council Ariful Haque said that Shaheed Saiful Islam Bhai was a very honorable person. But he was brutally murdered in broad daylight. Awami League and ISKCON should be banned because of this murder.
Banning Awami League, Ariful Haque demanded state recovery of all the assets occupied by them including Dhanmondi 32.
He said that the central office of the Awami League should be restored and reformed by the state, and the 35 student organizations that contain the revolution, including the revolutionary student council, should be explained.
Zakaria Kamal, assistant member secretary of Biplabli Chhatra Parishad, said, "This is Bangladesh, not India. ISKCON has no work here. So I call upon the innocent Hindu brothers, do not step into the trap of ISKCON's handiwork. May you rest in peace.
Muhib Mushfiq Khan, Member Secretary of Dhaka University Branch of Biplabli Chhatra Parishad, said that Chinmoy Krishnadas was arrested not for ISKCON, but because of conspiracy to destabilize the country by repeatedly visiting India. The defeated Awami League capitalized on this issue to destabilize the country. A planned riot was attempted by brutally killing advocate Saiful Islam Bhai. But the people of Bengal did not respond to this conspiracy.
He addressed the Home Affairs Adviser, We are with you; But if you carry out your duties in a careless way, not only ISKCON and Awami League, but also many militant organizations will rise up. He demanded to arrest every terrorist and militant and confiscate all assets of Awami League by carrying out a combing operation across the country.
Mushfiq Muhib Khan addressed the foreign adviser and said, "You are not fulfilling any responsibility other than the statement." Propaganda against our country on big screen in America's time square, tell us what action is taken against it.
Leaders of National Revolutionary Parishad and Revolutionary Student Parishad Central, Dhaka University and Bangladesh Islamic University branches were present in the protest.
After the rally, a protest march came out and circled the campus demandin
