BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has left Dhaka for UK on a 10-day visit. He is scheduled to return home on December 11 after staying there for 10 days.
BNP Secretary General left Dhaka on Saturday (November 30) Bangladesh Biman flight number BG 201 at 8:20 am. Earlier, he reached the airport at 7:17. BNP media cell member Shairul Karib confirmed the matter.
Mirza Fakhrul will also meet the acting chairman of the party, Tariq Rahman, in addition to various party programs of BNP during this visit to London. The current situation of the country, progress of reforms in the interim government, several important issues including upcoming elections will be discussed between these two top leaders of BNP.
Several other BNP sources said that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will go to London for treatment after Mirza Fakhrul returns to the country. That is why preparations are being made by the team.
