Gujarat Police learned that the killer, Rahul Karambir Jath, is a resident of Haryana's Rohtak district. This serial killer has killed at least 5 people in one month in Gujarat. His targets were train passengers, especially women. After his arrest, the gruesome details of these murders came out.

According to the police, accused Rahul killed at least five people. These killings happened in different states of India. In most cases, the target of the person was female passengers of various trains.

Rahul Karambir Jath was arrested on November 24 from Vapi railway station in Valsad district of Gujarat. Police units of various states participated in this operation. Before this, the footage of around 2000 CCTV cameras of several districts of Gujarat was scrutinized.

During the interrogation, the police said that whenever Rahul found someone alone, he would rob him of all his belongings and kill him. He used to do this in the designated coaches of trains for physically challenged persons and his target was women.

According to the police, apart from raping and killing a young woman in Gujarat, Rahul Karambir committed four more murders. Just a day before his arrest, he killed a woman on a train near Secunderabad railway station in Telangana. A few days ago, a woman was raped and killed in a train near Sholapur railway station in Maharashtra. Later, an old man was stabbed to death on the Katihar Express near Howrah railway station in West Bengal. Apart from this, there is an allegation against him of killing a passenger in a train in Mulki area of ​​Karnataka.

On investigation, the police found out that Rahul was released from Jodhpur Central Jail in Rajasthan a year ago. He was in jail in a robbery case. 13 FIRs have been filed against Rahul Karambir.
