Onion prices have started to decrease in Heli

Jumbangla Desk: The price of onion imported from India has decreased again within a day. Indian onion is selling at Rs 65 per kg, down by Rs 5 per kg in Healy's retail market; Which was sold on Friday for 70 rupees. On the other hand, the price of potato remains unchanged. Indian potato is being sold at Tk 60 and desi potato at Tk 70 per kg.

Meanwhile, retail traders say prices have fallen due to high supply and few buyers. There is some relief among the common buyers to reduce the prices.

 


According to the information of Heli Customs, last Thursday, 1 thousand 520 metric tons of potato in 55 Indian trucks and 380 metric tons of onions in 13 trucks were imported through Hili land port.
