Calcutta's JN Roy Hospital has announced that it will not provide treatment to any Bangladeshi patient due to desecration of the Indian flag.

Hospital official Subhranshu Bhakta told PTI that the hospital authorities have issued a notice today to the effect that JN Roy Hospital will not admit any Bangladeshi patients and will not provide medical services from now till the next indefinite period. This decision has been taken due to the disrespect shown by the citizens of Bangladesh towards India.
He said that they are talking to other hospitals in Kolkata and West Bengal and they have also been urged to come to a decision regarding Bangladeshi patients.
He also said that India played an important role in Bangladesh's independence war, but despite this we are seeing widespread anti-Indian sentiment there. We hope other hospitals will come to the same conclusion regarding Bangladeshi patients.
Recently, various university campuses in Bangladesh have been protesting by drawing designs of Indian and Israeli flags on the ground and walking on them. After such incidents in Bangladesh University of Engineering (BUET), these flag designs were seen in the TSC cafeteria area of Rajshahi Science and Technology University (RSTU), Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) and Dhaka University (DU).
Earlier, it was seen to protest by drawing the flag of Israel and walking on it, but now the Indian flag has been added to the ISKCON issue. It is said that such initiatives have been taken mainly for the purpose of showing hatred.
After the pictures and posts were published on social media on Thursday, it went viral and many citizens of India started strongly criticizing it.
Meanwhile, JN Hospital announced not to provide medical services to Bangladeshi patients.
