He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting on the occasion of the Historical Revolution and Solidarity Day organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka Metropolitan South on November 7.

The meeting was held in the hall room of Mahanagari Dakshin Jamaat office located in Paltan of the capital on Thursday.


Professor Mia Golam Parwar said that on November 7, 1975, a successful revolution of sepoys against hegemony and dictatorship took place in post-independence Bangladesh. On that day, Islamic values ​​and democracy were restored to the sound of Naraye Takbir Allahu Akbar. The people's right to vote and rice was established. Multi-party democracy was re-established in the country instead of one-party rule.

He also said that disappearances, murders, rapes had spread in the form of epidemics in the last 15 years. The people of the country completely overthrew the dictatorship on August 5. Now another revolution is needed on the basis of Islamic ideals to fully liberate democracy and the people of the country, which will shape the future of this nation. As the people of this country collectively roared against dictatorship, exploitation and oppression on 7th November, similarly on 5th August the students played a united role in confronting all hegemonic forces.
